The Climate Action Center of Excellence (CACE) today announced the launch of A6 Assist, a free, multilingual, real-time support service to help governments operationalize Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.

Available in English, French, Spanish, and Arabic, A6 Assist provides government officials with access to expert-moderated discussion groups, monthly community calls, and an AI-powered helpdesk tailored to country-specific needs. The initiative is designed to guide countries at all stages of readiness — from early planning to full implementation of national Article 6 frameworks — offering fast, practical support at every step.

“Building robust Article 6 frameworks is critical to unlocking the full potential of international carbon finance,” said Dr. Yousef Alhorr, Founding Chairman of the Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD), which created and launched CACE in 2023. “A6 Assist empowers governments with real-time, multilingual support to move from ambition to action, ensuring the integrity, transparency, and impact of their climate contributions.”

Article 6 of the Paris Agreement establishes the foundation for voluntary international cooperation through carbon markets and other mechanisms, helping countries achieve their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) more cost-effectively and accelerating global climate action. However, navigating the technical, legal, and operational complexities of Article 6 requires strong institutional frameworks and access to timely guidance.

A6 Assist was developed to respond to this urgent need. It offers:

• Multilingual Expert-Moderated Groups: Peer support and expert guidance in English, French, Spanish, and Arabic.
• Monthly Community Calls: Live sessions featuring country showcases, guest experts, and open Q&A.
• AI-Powered Helpdesk: Smart, 24/7 assistance trained on real-world rules, decisions, and country examples.
