CACE to mark its first anniversary at COP29

CACE at COP29

The Climate Action Center of Excellence (CACE) is excited to make a meaningful contribution at the upcoming 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11 to 22. As CACE marks its first anniversary since its launch at COP28, we invite you to join us at our pavilion, booth F03 in the Blue Zone, where we will engage in impactful discussions and collaborative efforts to tackle climate change challenges.

“We are excited to return to COP29, marking one year since the launch of CACE at COP28,” said Dr. Yousef Alhorr, Founding Chairman of CACE. “Our pavilion will serve as a dynamic hub for innovative solutions and thought leadership. We look forward to engaging with policymakers, businesses, and civil society organizations to collectively advance our vision for a sustainable future.”

As a Center of Excellence of the Gulf Organisation for Research & Development (GORD), CACE’s participation in COP29 is in line with its mission to activate Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. As part of its commitment to catalyzing meaningful climate action, CACE is offering its pavilion at COP29 as a platform for organizations participating in the Blue Zone with secured badges to host their own side events, free of charge. This unique opportunity aims to foster dialogue, share innovative solutions, and amplify diverse perspectives on climate issues.

To this end, CACE is currently accepting expressions of interest until November 7 from leading organizations looking to benefit from its pavilion at COP29.
