CACE, Emsurge and Emstream Launch New CORSIA Procurement Service and Marketplace

New service combines market technology, carbon expertise, and credit origination to help airlines navigate CORSIA compliance with greater transparency, lower costs, and reduced risk
The Climate Action Center of Excellence (CACE), in partnership with Emsurge and Emstream, today announced the launch of a new CORSIA procurement service and marketplace designed to help airlines and market participants confidently source high-quality carbon credits for compliance with the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA).
Accessible through www.corsiamarket.com, the new service combines advanced market technology, carbon-market origination, and independent technical due diligence to provide buyers with a streamlined pathway to identify, evaluate, and procure CORSIA-eligible carbon credits.
“Carbon markets are entering a phase of implementation where credibility, transparency, and informed decision-making are essential,” said Dr. Yousef Alhorr, Founding Chairman of the Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD). “Through this collaboration, the Climate Action Center of Excellence is helping ensure that buyers have access not only to supply, but also to the expertise needed to assess the integrity, risks, and policy context behind each transaction.”
As airlines prepare for growing compliance obligations under CORSIA, the marketplace addresses a key challenge facing the sector: navigating credit supply while managing financial, contractual, and reputational risks. The service provides price discovery, project due diligence, and transaction support, helping buyers understand both the risks of purchasing and the risks of delaying procurement as supply tightens.
The marketplace will be free to access for airlines and other corporates seeking high-integrity CORSIA credits, enabling buyers to review available supply, understand pricing dynamics, and assess potential transactions before executing purchases.
The platform integrates three complementary capabilities:
- Emsurge provides the digital infrastructure and technology powering the marketplace.
- Emstream delivers origination, market access, and transaction negotiation.
- CACE provides independent carbon-market expertise and due diligence, drawing on deep specialization in Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and emerging compliance markets.
Together, the partners provide a full-service procurement solution designed to increase transparency, reduce transaction costs, and strengthen buyer confidence.
“Airlines and other buyers need clarity in a complex and rapidly evolving market,” said Melissa Lindsay, Founder and CEO of Emstream and Emsurge, an OTC trading platform for carbon, LNG, biodiversity and renewable energy certificates. “By bringing together technology, market access, and deep carbon expertise, this service helps buyers understand pricing, manage risk, and secure high-quality supply with greater confidence.”
The CORSIA sourcing service provides a range of integrated support functions, including:
- Price discovery and market intelligence
- Reputational and integrity risk analysis
- Contractual and regulatory due diligence
- Transaction support and negotiation
- Access to curated pipelines of CORSIA-eligible credits
With compliance timelines approaching and demand expected to increase significantly, the partners believe the new service will help airlines secure reliable supply while supporting credible climate mitigation projects globally.
